Medtrade Planning Committee Meets

The Medtrade Educational Planning Committee held its first strategic planning session last month in Orlando to coordinate this year's educational programs at Medtrade Sept. 19-21 in Atlanta.

The committee is working on increasing the level of professionalism for Medtrade's seminar programs that will better represent our HME industry's primary issues and concerns. Their immediate goals are to attract more professional speakers, offer a wider array of seminar tracks, and provide continuing education credits for a wider array of health care professionals.

Committee members include chairperson Kim Kianka, director of education and meetings, AA Homecare; Jeff Baird, Brown & Fortunato P.C.; Kim Brummett, Advanced Home Care; Mary Ellen Conway, Healthcare Group; Asela Cuervo, Law Offices of Asela Cuervo; Jack Evans, Global Media Marketing; Bob Fary, Inogen Corp.; and Teresa Tatum, VNU Expositions.
