PAOC To Discuss Fallout From Competitive Bidding

The deadline for the first wave of competitive bidding hits next week, Sept. 25.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)also announced that the next meeting of the Medicare Program Advisory and Oversight Committee (PAOC) for competitive bidding will be held Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Hilton Pikesville Hotel in Baltimore.

Discussions are likely to focus on fallout from the first round of bidding. AAHomecare will be developing a comprehensive list of issues and questions that will be addressed at the meeting. Several members of the PAOC are also AAHomecare members.

Details about how to participate in the meeting are not currently available.
