Riders of Invacare Handcycles Cleanup at World Cup

Riders using Force handcycles win 13 of 15 medals in the first round.

Invacare Force handcycles made a good showing in the first round of the 2011 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Cup, with riders on Force handcycles taking 13 of 15 possible medals.

The event, staged May 4-6 in Sydney Australia was the first of three rounds. After Sydney, it heads to Spain on June 10-12 and concludes in Canada, July 8-10. The World Cup act as a qualifying series for the 2011 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships, which take place in Denmark September 8-11.

“Top athletes like Oz Sanchez, Joel Jeannot, Mark Rohan and Rachel Morris know what it takes to win, and that is why Invacare Top End handcycles dominate the podium,” said Chris Peterson, director of Invacare Top End.
