Griffin Home Health Care Lends a Hand

HME providers donates 20 hospital beds to Charlotte Rescue Mission.

HME provider Griffin Home Health Care Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.) recently donated 20 hospital beds to the Charlotte Rescue Mission, a long-stranding charity that serves the homeless and those battling substance abuse.

“We are grateful to Griffin Home Health Care for this very generous donation,” said Rev. Tony Marciano, executive director of Charlotte Rescue Mission, which will use the beds in the men’s division. “The significance of this gift is about bringing dignity to men whose former home was on the street and to give them an environment to address the issues that drove them to the streets in the first place.”

“Caring for our fellow man and giving back to individuals in need is something we are very passionate about so we were honored to coordinate this donation of beds to the Charlotte Rescue Mission,” said William H. (Bill) Griffin, president of Griffin Home Health Care.
