The Posey Company’s PRO-heeLx Heel Protector is designed to protect against heel ulcers and foot drop. The device elevates the foot and separates the heel from the mattress for bed-ridden and atr isk patients. The product’s Orthowick fabric liner minimizes heat, moisture, friction and shear on a patient’s feet, heels and ankles, and the lower support design keeps feet in an upright position. The unit is equipped with adjustable straps and is available in three comfort fit sizes.
