Philips Respironics’ BiPAP AVAPS and S/T noninvasive ventilators are designed to deliver bi-level therapy to adults and children. The AVAPS ventilator automatically adjusts pressure support to meet changing patient needs and is geared to treat individuals with respiratory insufficiency hypoventilation. Both models are equipped with a digital Auto-Trak sensitivity algorithm and EncorePro and EncoreAnywhere ventilation datamanagement software. The quiet units allow clinicians to record ventilator data using wired and wireless modems and a digital memory card.
