Mattress provides alternative to bedpans, adult diapers

Incontinence Mattress

The Incontinence Mattress addresses adult incontinence and replaces bedpans and adult diapers. The mattress is pressure-reducing with a cavity and has a specially designed disposable absorbent pad with an attached plastic bag. The application of the mattress involves placing the disposable absorbent pad with the attached plastic bag onto the mattress and extending the plastic bag through the mattress cavity. The mattress can be placed onto virtually any hospital bed. Changing the pad/bag takes less than 60 seconds, and can generally be done with one caregiver.
